I’m a world-traveling entrepreneur who is enthusiastic about the developing psychedelic renaissance. I own two online businesses, and, within the past year, launched a third: a community-oriented brand within the psychedelic space called ‘The Third Wave.’ Through the Third Wave, I write about my interest in the intersection of psychedelics, personal growth, and community development. I like to understand how psychedelics can improve the day-to-day lives of individuals within 21st-century life. I have authored a book on microdosing on Amazon entitled “The Ultimate Guide to Microdosing Psychedelics” and created a super popular infographic entitled “The Ultimate Guide to Microdosing” (thethirdwave.co/blog/microdosing-lsd-mushrooms). Our community is growing every day, as evidenced by our burgeoning e-mail list, twitter following, and recent partnership with the Sumiruna conference in Bucharest (http://www.sumiruna.org/Partners)
TITLE: Microdosing: Benefits, Uses, and More
Microdosing is an up and coming trend in both professional and mental health circles. As someone who is heavily invested in my own personal development, as well as the continued growth of those around me, I was drawn to microdosing for its potential for creative endeavors. I was not disappointed. Due to my experience with microdosing, I wrote a self-published book on Amazon and put together a comprehensive infographic – the likes of which drew praise from Jim Fadiman – the man who many consider to be the ‘father’ of microdosing (and who popularized it through his book in 2010, then, later, to wider acclaim through Tim Ferriss’s podcast).
I’d like to present on the general topic of microdosing: what it is, what it is used for, what benefits are associated with it, and, some thoughts on how microdosing could, potentially, help to change the way psychedelics are perceived by the wider public.
More specifically, I’d like to talk about: – The many anecdotal reports associated with microdosing for addictions and mental health (including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, ADHD, smoking cessation, PTSD)
– My own personal experience (and many of my friends) as an entrepreneur who makes his living from innovation and creativity (and reports from others who have used microdosing to live more vibrant lives)
– Why microdosing could act as a potential ‘bridge’ for non-psychedelic users to become comfortable and acquainted with normally stigmatized substances
– Answering the many FAQs about microdosing: how to find it? how much to take? what routine/regimen to follow? how to balance microdosing with other prescription substances?
