Raquel Bennett, Psy.D. is a psychologist and ketamine specialist from Berkeley, California. She primarily works with people who are living with severe depression, bipolar disorder, and/or suicidal ideation. Dr. Bennett has been studying the antidepressant effects of ketamine for over 15 years, and she lectures frequently on this topic. Dr. Bennett is the founder of KRIYA Institute (www.kriyainstitute.com) and the organizer of the KRIYA Conferences, which is an annual and international event devoted to deepening our understanding of ways that ketamine can be used in psychiatry, psychotherapy, and spiritual exploration.

This talk in an introductory level presentation on therapeutic ketamine. Dr. Bennett will describe different ways of working with ketamine in a medical or psychotherapy setting, including ketamine-infusions, ketamine-facilitated psychotherapy, and psychedelic ketamine journeys. Her talk will include information on the routes of administration for ketamine (IV, IM, nasal, sublingual), as well as various dosing strategies for ketamine treatment. She will end with a discussion of the potential benefits and risks of working in the psychedelic dose range.
